bismillah

Waawhayna ila moosa an asri biAAibadee innakum muttabaAAoon(a)

And We-SWT revealed to Musa-AS: Depart by night with My-SWT bondmen, certainly you-AS will be pursued.

(26:52)

Faarsala firAAawnu fee almadaini hashireen(a)

Then the Pharaoh sent callers to the cities.

(26:53)

Inna haolai lashirthimatun qaleeloon(a)

Verily these are but a small band.

(26:54)

Wainnahum lana laghaithoon(a)

And verily they have enraged us.

(26:55)

Wainna lajameeAAun hathiroon(a)

And we are the host well-provided.

(26:56)

Faakhrajnahum min jannatin waAAuyoon(in)

Then We-SWT drove them from gardens and streams.

(26:57)

Wakunoozin wamaqamin kareem(in)

And treasurers and a noble station.

(26:58)

Kathalika waawrathnaha banee israeel(a)

Even so. And We-SWT caused the Children of Israil to inherit them.

(26:59)

FaatbaAAoohum mushriqeen(a)

And they pursued them at sunrise.

(26:60)

Falamma taraa aljamAAani qala ashabu moosa inna lamudrakoon(a)

And when the two parties saw each other the companions of Musa-AS said. Verily we are overtaken.

(26:61)

Qala kalla inna maAAiya rabbee sayahdeen(i)

Musa-AS said: By no means! With me is my Rabb-SWT ; He-SWT shall guide me.

(26:62)

Faawhayna ila moosa ani idrib biAAasaka albahra fa(i)nfalaqa fakana kullu firqin ka(al)ttawdi alAAatheem(i)

Then We-SWT revealed to Musa-AS: smite you-AS the sea with your-AS staff. So it became separated, and each part was like a mighty mount.

(26:63)

Waazlafna thamma alakhareen(a)

And near We-SWT brought there the others on.

(26:64)

Waanjayna moosa waman maAAahu ajmaAAeen(a)

And We-SWT delivered Musa-AS and those with him-AS together

(26:65)

Thumma aghraqna alakhareen(a)

Then We-SWT drowned the others.

(26:66)

Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineen(a)

Verily herein is a Sign, yet most of them are not believers.

(26:67)

Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu a(l)rraheem(u)

And verily your Rabb-SWT ! He-SWT is the Mighty, the Merciful.

(26:68)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

When, despite witnessing such incredible miracles, the Pharaoh insisted on denial, Allah-SWT revealed to Prophet Musa-AS to escort My slaves" (the Bani Israil had since become believers and Allah-SWT honoured them with the title of My slaves”) out of Egypt at night. He-AS was also informed that the Pharaoh will follow in hot pursuit (and shall thus meet his tragic end). So when he heard that the Bani Israil had fled over night and carried away lot of wealth and ornaments of the natives, he was outraged. He hurried his couriers to the other cities and summoned all the young fighters, with a message that the Bani Israil, a worthless community, had invoked the Pharaoh's wrath by fleeing from the country stealthily along with the wealth of people and ought to be taken to task. He set out in pursuit of Bani Israil failing to discern that it was a Divine Plan to drive them out of their beautiful cities, gardens and springs, laden with provisions and wealth to be taken over by the Bani Israil later.

The army of the Pharaoh moved speedily and caught up with the Bani Israil one fine morning, who had reached the Red Sea and were planning to cross over. The sudden appearance of the Pharaoh's Army unnerved them. They cried out: ' O Prophet-AS! We have been caught", who firmly dismissed it, for the Prophets-AS and Messengers-AS are as steadfast as mountains. The knowledge they have is authentic and they enjoy complete trust in the information provided by Allah-SWT . So Prophet Musa-AS declared: "Certainly not. My Rabb-SWT is with me and will make a way for us".

Divine Company

Mark the words of Prophet Musa-AS: 'Ma'ee Rabbi' (My Rabb-SWT is with me). The Divine Company is confined to his-AS own self, and it relates to one of His-SWT Attributes and is thus Attributive. A similar situation was faced by Prophet Muhammad-SW during his-SW migration, when the polytheists of Makkah pursued him-SW. They arrived at the very mouth of Cave Thaur and his-SW Companion Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq-RAU got extremely worried for his-SW safety. Here the Bani Israil felt anxious for their own safety and not of their Prophet-AS, whereas he-RAU was worried for the safety of the Holy Prophet-SW who said. ‘Allah-SWT is with us’, referring to the Company of the Being Himself, for both of them. By including Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddiq-RAU, this Company of the Being has in a way been extended to all those believers who can come up to the standard of devotion of the illustrious Siddiq-e-Akbar-RAU (the greatest of all Siddiq). Praise be to Allah-SWT !

Miracle Of Cleaving Of The Sea

So Prophet Musa-AS was commanded to strike the sea with his-AS staff. As soon as he-AS did, the water parted, creating many pathways separated by mountains of water. The Bani Israil using these pathways crossed safely to the other side. It was not a matter of high or low tide. Any such assumption will tantamount to the denial of these Ayat for it was a clear miracle manifested by His-SWT Omnipotence. Prophet Musa-AS and his-AS followers had crossed the sea safely, while the Pharaoh and his army were on the pathways in hot pursuit, when the sea reverted to its normal state. Thus a superpower was wiped away without formal war. This event carries a great admonition, highlighting the fact how devastating the opposition to the teachings of the Prophets-AS can be.

Despite this, O’ Prophet-SW! Very few people believe in your Message and a vast majority stands away. Your Rabb-SWT is indeed Mighty, and can, if it pleases Him-SWT , destroy these infidels as He-SWT had done the Pharaoh and his people. But His-SWT Mercy is giving them respite and overlooking their mistakes. This story also carries a lesson for the believers that disobedience of the Holy Prophet-SW’s commands does usher in humiliation and abasement.
